Dynamic Thai Massage @ Yogahaus, Ettlingen

This weekend of Thai massage will be an opportunity to focus on dynamic & rhythmic techniques to enhance mobility & liquid flow in the body.  A Thai massage should include fluidity, continuity & rhythm. Rhythm is inherent to everything within nature, seasons, planets, cells, our body movement, breath, heart beat for example. Life is movement & rhythm is one of the fundamental principles of life.  Therefore rhythm will be our focus during this weekend training.

Having a basic understanding of Thai massage you will then learn how to move  through the body using dynamic techniques such as rocking, stretching & vibration. Working with the water element of the body, rocking & rhymic techniques help achieve a free flow of liquids, blood & lymph.

Workshop at Yoga Kula, Kalsruhe

Going Deeper, Beyond Asana,

13th May 2017,  3-5pm

Picture

"Going Deeper" workshop, beyond Asana. Combining Asana with sound & mantra and chanting.

Join Helen for a 2 hour workshop giving focus & time to delving deeper into the practice of sound & Mantra (Nada Yoga). There will be breath work, asana & warm up vocal exercises which will prepare the body & heart for repeating the sacred Sanskrit mantras. This is an opportunity to explore another level of our Yoga practice (Nada yoga) that will lead us to a deeper mediative state, awakened heart & feeling of expansion.

We will go through the correct pronunciation & brief understanding of the Mantra & then chant with the support of the harmonium. There will be a short pranayama & Asana practice that will complement the work we will do with the mantras, specifically expanding the lungs & chest, heart area. If you are experienced or shy to share your voice this will be a safe space to open the throat chakra & find your inner voice whilst connecting to something greater than the individual self. No experience necessary.

Minimum of 8 participants.
