Yoga helps you breathe and relax, which in turn can help you adjust to the physical demands of pregnancy, labor, birth, and motherhood. It calms both mind and body, providing the physical and emotional stress relief your body needs throughout pregnancy.
Taking a prenatal yoga class is also a great way to meet other moms-to-be and embark on this journey together.

Anusara principles of alignment will be combined with a creative flow from the heart to uplift, strengthen, calm & balance the mind & body. Helen uses sound, mantra & breath work throughout the class to build upto a meditative practice at the end. A dynamic flow with mindfulness, grace & creativity.
Thursdays 17:00 - 18:15 - Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a a very restful relaxing yoga using cushions & bolsters to support the body. This allows you to surrender into the pose. By being very comfortable in the pose & staying for extended lengths of time the nervous systems can align, balancing & calming the body & mind. It is said that this allows the body to heal, de-stress & allow for deeply held tension to release. Simple sounds maybe used to encourage the process of relaxation.
