This introductory course to Thai Massage (an ancient Budhist tradton) offers the student the opportunity to learn and experience the intuitive development of the Art of healing touch. Working together with the group, students learn the basic principle & techniques of Thai massage which by the end of the course will enable them to confidently give a 1 and half hour Thai Massage.
As we delve deep in to this tradition we learn through practice, meditation and yoga how the art of touch at its essence transcends technique and brings the practitioner into the realm of the heart and intuitive awareness. As this awareness evolves , the practitioner is transported into the trance and dance that is Thai massage bringing the client on a deeply transformative journey that can only be fuelled from the heart.

- A deep understanding of the principles of Thai Massage (meditation in movement).
- The Art of Touch : the development of sensitivity, softness & power in our hands and our whole body, enabling us to work comfortably & fluidly on the floor.
- Thai massage sequence. The sequence taught ( approximately 1hr30min) is specifically designed to address the needs of our Western patients focusing on restoring basic flexibility, mobility and balancing energy flow.
This 5-day class is open to everyone :
- From the complete beginner to the health professional (yoga teacher, physiotherapist, osteopath, nurse…) who wishes to expand his or her skill base & qualities of touch.
